Shawn Stockman was born on September 26, 1972, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and afterwards became well-known in his city and world-wide as an associate of the all-male ensemble Boyz II Men. This Grammy Award-winning quartet dominated the charts, particularly in the late 1980s and early ’90s, with ballads, R&B tunes and dance hits. Stockman, now a married father, has additionally enjoyed a successful television career as a judge on The Sing-Off.

One of the youthful Stockman’s large family of 10 children, he stood out for his serious singing abilities. From the age of 9, he was touring together with the Philadelphia Boys Choir.
Stockman, Wanya Morris and Michael McCary finished this boy band, which became known for incredible harmonizing. Wed since 2001 to wife Sharonda Jones, Stockman is a committed father of three. Among his sons has autism, which prompted Stockman to start the nonprofit organization Micah’s Voice in the year 2012 to help support families dealing with the exact same medical condition.
