Kenny Chesney was born on March 26, 1968, in Knoxville, Tennessee. By 2000, Chesney was a bona fide star who had been adored by legions of country music enthusiasts. In 2001 he released his first Greatest Hits record. In 2008 he toured, and was nominated for seven CMA Awards.
While attending East Tennessee State, Chesney hooked up using a school group and began composing his own tunes and playing at local pubs. The hardworking musician eventually recorded an album to sell at his shows. After graduating with a diploma in advertising in 1991, he headed to Nashville to continue a vocation in music.
Following a slow beginning and small sales on records Chesney finished with Opryland Music Group and Capricorn Records, Chesney got the attention of RCA’s affiliate, BNA Records. By 2000, Chesney was a bona fide star who had been adored by legions of country music enthusiasts.
