He was among the five members of N’Sync, the pop group sense that sold 40 million records globally. Following the boy band era, Chasez went to sing solo, compose and produce for other musical acts and judge MTV’s America’s Best Dance Crew.
Joshua Scott Chasez (pronounced sha-ZAY), better known as “JC,” made his advent on the planet on August 8, 1976, in Bowie, Maryland. The couple had functioned as foster parents to his biological mother at one time, and she entrusted them with her son’s attention. In his youth, Chasez’s love of dancing and singing pulled him out of his self-conscious behaviour.
Once their Mousketeers days passed, Chasez and Timberlake joined with another vocalist, Chris Kirkpatrick. They made a decision to form a group, N’Sync, as well as Joey Fatone and Lance Bass, in 1996. The quintet formed a dash making pop in Europe and then America.
A Christmas record followed in 1999 at the same time as more new music on the album No Strings Attached. Chasez composed several tunes with this release, which ended as the best selling record of 2000; it additionally earned N’Sync a Grammy nomination for the melody “Bye Bye Bye.” After their fourth record, in 2001, the five-time platinum Celebrity, Chasez as well as the others chose to split up to pursue independent projects.
It offered up some pretty risqu lyrics and tune names, including “All Day Long I Dream About Sex” and “One Night Stand.” He helped compose 16 of the 17 tracks. (He is also been romantically linked to some other actress, Eva Longoria.)
This N’Sync alum has become included in most facets of music. Chasez has composed tunes for the Backstreet Boys, David Archuleta of American Idol fame among others. In 2013, he disclosed that he is putting together an all-female corps de ballet, Girl Radical, and expects their journey is going to function as the focus of a reality-television show. No stranger to TV himself, Chasez judged several seasons of MTV’s reality contest show America’s Best Dance Crew. Immersed in independent efforts, he does not see an N’Sync reunion in the near future despite the clamoring of enthusiasts around the world.
