As a young teen, Hill learned to play guitar, and by age 16 she’d started her own country group that played in several local fairs and rodeos.
In Nashville, Hill was employed as a secretary in a music publishing company before getting a job packaging lover merchandise for her idol, country diva Reba McEntire. Faith married the songwriter and music publishing executive Daniel Hill in 1988. Hill’s professional breakthrough came when she was seen by Martha Sharp, a talent scout in the Warner/Reprise record business, while singing backup for Gary Burr in the Bluebird Caf, a popular Nashville pub. Hill’s debut album, Take Me As I’m, premiered in 1993 to instant success. Take Me As I’m went to reach triple platinum status.
Hill’s rise to country stardom coincided having a great deal of turmoil in her private life. In 1990, she’d started a hunt for her birth mother, whom she eventually met in 1993. Hill has declined to publicly identify her birth mother as a way to safeguard her privacy, but has stayed in touch with her. On a more depressing note, Hill’s marriage to Daniel Hill finished in divorce in 1994.
Hill won numerous honours that year, including Best Female Country Musician from Billboard and Performance magazines and Favorite New Female Musician in the Academy of Country Music. Hill’s second album, It Matters to Me (1995), soared to the peak of the charts and cemented Hill’s popularity among country enthusiasts. The name single stayed the top-selling country single for the initial six months of 1996.
In the spring of 1996, Hill started a combined tour, dubbed the Spontaneous Combustion tour, with country star Tim McGraw. At that time, McGraw had lately broken an engagement to Kristine Donahue, and Hill was engaged to Scott Hendricks, a record producer who’d helmed her first two records. However, sparks flew, as well as the two started a romantic relationship. The two wed on October 6, 1996, instantly becoming country music’s most observable couple.

In May 2000, Hill and McGraw started their second tour together, the Soul2Soul Tour 2000. The two have collaborated in the recording studio too, such as the Grammy-winning duet “Let’s Make Love,” featured on Respire.
In May 2000, Hill and McGraw found the Soul2Soul Tour, which now stands as the highest grossing country music tour ever. Along with Hill’s flourishing profession and family, Hill gives a great deal of time to her charity organization, the Faith Hill Family Literacy Project, started in 1996 together with the collaboration of Warner Bros. and Time Warner.
The record was certified double platinum in January 2006. The following year, Hill went on the street along with her husband for the next time using the Soul2Soul Tour 2007.
The next year, Hill released the vacation-themed Joy to the World (2008). The record was a success on the country and pop charts. This popular vocalist, wife, and mom took on a brand new job in 2009. Hill declared that she will soon be working with Coty Inc. to develop a new perfume line.
