Carolyn Bessette Kennedy was born on January 7, 1966, in White Plans, Ny. She studied instruction in school, but worked in public relations to get a club. Declared a trendsetter from the national press, Bessette was frequently equated to her late mother in law, Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis, due to her fierce protection of her own (and Kennedy’s) seclusion, in addition to her work for non-profit causes. Bessette was killed, as well as JFK Jr. and her sister, Lauren, when their little private airplane, piloted by Kennedy, crashed off the coast of Martha’s Vineyard, Massachusetts, on July 16, 1999.
Produced in White Plains, Ny, and voted “greatest lovely man” of her high school class of 1983, Carolyn Bessette Kennedy grew up in a well-off corner of Connecticut, only outside of Nyc, with her older sisters, twins Lisa and Lauren. Bessette moved to Connecticut with her mom and sisters at age 8 when her parents divorced. Her mom, a school administrator, remarried a leading physician. Her first job after school was in public relations to get a club business in New England. She went to work at Calvin Klein’s shop in Boston and then transferred to the organization ‘s New York location.
