Celebrity Aaron Paul Sturtevant was born on August 27, 1979, in Emmett, Idaho. Paul moved to La, California, at age 17, embarking on a decade-long run of spot television work and commercial shows. Following a successful run on the HBO show Big Love, Paul climbed to acclaim playing Jesse Pinkman to the Emmy Award-winning TV drama Breaking Bad. On the show’s five-year run, Paul won two Emmys.
Aaron Paul Sturtevant was born on August 27, 1979, in Emmett, Idaho. The son of a Baptist minister, Paul (he lost his name after moving to Hollywood because a lot of casting directors had trouble pronouncing it) is the most youthful of Robert and Darla Sturtevant’s five kids.
Following his high school graduation, a 17-year old Paul moved to La, California, to do only that, embarking on a near decade-long run of spot television work and commercial jobs. His early occupations ranged from a Corn Pops commercial to some Korn music video.
From the early 2000s, Paul had started to create a diverse portfolio of television credits. Also, Paul racked up a couple of film credits. He played the estranged son of Jeff Bridges in K Pax (2002), and an unnamed stoner in National Lampoon’s Van Wilder (2002). He afterwards had a little part in the Tom Cruise blockbuster Mission Impossible III (2006).
For Paul, the program’s assumption was enthralling, however he had his doubts it’d ever make it to the atmosphere. “I was like, that is the best thing I’ve ever read,” Paul afterwards remembered. “And additionally, there is not any way this show will ever see the light of day. It was so extreme in the initial period.”
It did, and with his “hey, man” dash, Paul was cast to play Jesse Pinkman, White’s problem child meth making partner. Gilligan delegated Bryan Cranston to play White. The show first aired in 2008 and ended with a much hoped-for series finale in September 2013.
Initially, Gilligan intended to kill off the Pinkman character prior to the next season, but after he (and audience) picked up on how well Paul and Cranston fed off each other, he made your decision to keep him a portion of the show.
Paul’s work on the show earned him both praise and notoriety. Between shootings for Breaking Bad, Paul took on several outdoor projects, including a pair of independent films, Smashed (2010) and Decoding Annie Parker (2013). Paul lives in L.A. with his wife, Lauren Parsekian (the two wed in May 2013).
