Zachary Walker Hanson Biography:
He and his brothers Isaac and Taylor formed the pop band Hanson and became known for his or her mega hit single “MMMBop,” along with added hits “I’ll Come to You” and “Where Is the Love.” Zac is a Grammy-nominated musician and continues to create new music.
Zac was homeschooled by his mom and at a youthful age he and his brothers, future band mates Taylor and Isaac, fell upon their dad’s rock and roll records. The lads became increasingly enthusiastic about music and walked round your house singing. Shortly after Zac started to play the drums.
The three brothers formed a group and started to perform everywhere they could, including celebrations, state fairs and caf parking lots. While the lads played these places their mom would sold Hanson’s alone released first album, Boomerang. The record featured the three lads singing three-part harmony and their second indie album featured an early performance of their after hit single “MMMBop.”
Sabec became their supervisor and finally joined the trio with record producer Steven Greenberg, who signed the group to Mercury Records.
Hanson’s contract with Greenberg and Mercury Records contained a six-record deal. Their very first studio album using a major label, Middle of Nowhere, premiered in 1997, and featured their platinum and Grammy-nominated No. 1 single “MMMBop,” along with Top 10 hits “I’ll Come to You” and “Where Is the Love.”
Hanson’s follow up to Nowhere was the Christmas launch Snowed In, which likewise went platinum and reached the Top 10. The group has continued to record records after creating their own label, 3CG. While not repeating the commercial success of the major label attempts, the brothers have continued to produce their way in the indie marketplace while spearheading African charity work.
Zac wed longtime girlfriend Kate Tucker in 2006. The couple have two children and are expecting their third child in the autumn of 2013.
Zac and his brother’s observed their group’s 21st anniversary in 2013 by releasing their very own beer, Mmmhops.
