Wanyá Jermaine Morris Biography:

Wanya Morris was born on July 29, 1973, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He set his gifted tenor voice to great use as an associate of the Grammy Award-winning group Boyz II Men. This boy band ruled the music charts in the late 1980s and early ’90s with slow tunes, R&B grooves and dance hits. Morris additionally created media buzz for romancing singer Brandy in her teen years.

This Philadelphia north side native was created on July 29, 1973. His parents never married, and they break up when Morris was youthful. Growing up in the jobs, he turned to drawing, as well as more so to singing, to deal together with his adversities.

Morris stayed together with the group despite expulsion and graduating instead from Willingboro High School.

Boyz II Men made their very first record with Morris, Cooleyhighharmony, with the support of Michael Bivins of Bell Biv DeVoe (and previously of New Edition), who agreed to produce it. They’d hits aplenty after that, including “It Is The End of the Road,” which topped the pop charts for 13 weeks. (It broke Elvis Presley’s 1956 record.) In 1994, Boyz II Men’s “On Bended Knee” replaced another of the tunes, “I’ll Make Love to You,” for the No. 1 position on the Hot 100 chart—a success formerly attained only by the Beatles and Elvis.

Morris was not understood just for crafty dance moves and music, but also for coupling up with vocalist Brandy after touring together. Despite their denials, this caused people and media backlash because Brandy was underage at that time and Morris is her senior by many years. They even did a duet, “Brokenhearted,” in 1995, however he dumped her for another girl in 1997. Morris now resides along with his own wife, designer Traci “Toi” Nash, and kids in New Jersey.
