Tom Selleck was born in Detroit, Michigan, on January 29, 1945, finally going to act as a model and have little parts in various TV programs. Selleck’s first leading part was describing Thomas Magnum in the success 1980s detective show Magnum, P.I., for which he won a Golden Globe and an Emmy.
