Not long after, he filed with USA Boxing, an amateur boxing organization, started working odd jobs and apparently became intensely spiritual. In 2009, Tamerlan was detained by policemen in the Cambridge Police Deparment for allegedly attacking his girlfriend. That evening, a Massachusetts Institute of Technology campus police officer, Sean Collier, was fatally shot, as well as the Tsarnaev brothers were named defendants in the event. Based on a member of the family, Tamerlan Tsarnaev started a routine daily prayer rite in 2011. The next year, he acquired a quick visit to Russia, where he apparently spent a lot of time together with his dad, Anzor Tsarnaev, and traveled to Makhachkala. He returned to America in July 2012, as well as the subsequent month, created a YouTube station that linked to various videos, two of which were contained under a class entitled “Terrorists.”
