Well-Known as “Domestic Goddess,” Lawson can also be a favorite TV figure with shows like Nigella Bites as well as The Flavor. Her marriage to Charles Saatchi made headlines when images surfaced that seemed to be violent.

Nigella Lucy Lawson was born in London, England, on January 6, 1960. Her mom, Vanessa Salmon, was part of the Lyons Coffee House family and her dad, Nigel Lawson, afterwards became an associate of Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher’s political cabinet. An enthusiastic reader, Nigella went to attend Lady Margaret Hall College at Oxford University, where she earned a degree in medieval and contemporary languages.

Lawson chose to pursue publishing, and from the mid-1980s, worked as deputy literary editor for The Sunday Times before embarking on a freelance-writing career, penning stories to get several outstanding publications in the UK.

Lawson wed fellow writer and broadcaster John Diamond; the couple had two kids. Diamond perished from cancer in 2001, with Lawson’s mom and sister Thomasina having both formerly perished in the disorder at the same time.

She is sold countless copies of her novels worldwide.

Lawson is a leading figure on the Food Network at the same time, having hosted the shows Nigella Feasts and Nigella Express as well as other programs on Fashion and E! Entertainment Television.

Lawson is famous for her beauty, heat as well as a culinary strategy that observes the sensuousness of cooking and eating. She continued her TV work using the seasonal recipe show Forever Summer With Nigella, which made its U.S. introduction in 2011; two years after, she served as executive producer and featured judge on the ABC reality cooking contest, The Taste.

Lawson wed rich art collector and ad agency creator Charles Saatchi in 2003. Lawson was noted to have left the scene clearly distraught. Saatchi afterwards received and accepted a British police caution for assault, and shortly after announced plans to divorce.
