By age 16, David Copperfield was teaching a class in magic at New York University. He went to perform his magic efforts more than 500 times annually. According to Forbes magazine, Copperfield brought in $57 million in goods and tour sales in 2005. Over his long career, he’s won 21 Emmy Awards, among other honours, and started the International Museum and Library of the Conjuring Arts in Vegas, Nevada, which will be focused on maintaining the history and art of magic.

Produced David Seth Kotkin on September 16, 1956, in Metuchen, Jersey, David Copperfield is among the planet ‘s most well-known magicians and richest entertainers. Copperfield got his start with magic in the age of 12, when he became the youngest man to achieve entry to the Society of American Magicians.

By age 16, he was instructing a class in magic at New York University and performing below the name David Copperfield, following the most popular Charles Dickens novel.

The success of The Magic Man resulted in employment hosting an ABC magic special, which Copperfield parlayed into a money-making profession. He went to perform his magic efforts more than 500 times annually.
