The couple considered that Lutfi was a terrible influence on their daughter and was attempting to control her life. Her dad went to court and got control over Spears’s private, professional and medical issues.

Just several weeks after her private disaster, Spears enjoyed a well-received guest appearance on the most popular situation comedy How I Met Your Mother.

In late 2008 Spears released her next record, Circus, which rose to the very top of the charts thanks in big part to the success of her No. 1 single “Womanizer.”

In the year 2012, Spears took on a fresh challenge: She joined the judges’ panel of the most popular singing-competition show The X Factor in its second season, adopting the function of the hard-to-please critic.
